Botulinum Toxin Before & After.

Botulinum toxin type A, better known as Botox, is a product used in aesthetic surgery to correct annoying expression lines in the face. The correction occurs because botulinum toxin temporarily paralyzes the muscles responsible for these lines. This allows the skin to recover from years of squinting and frowning. The optimal indications lie in the upper third of the face: vertical frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal furrows on the forehead, and crow’s feet. Dr. Bouraoui Kotti prefers light under-treatment to avoid a diminished facial expression. The procedure takes 10-30 minutes with no anesthesia or only topical anaesthetic cream and is performed on an outpatient basis. This procedure carries risks. Results vary per individual. A consultation is required.
