Alloplastic Augmentation of the Face Before & After.
Alloplastic augmentation of the face improves the size and appearance of different areas in the face by implanting a pre-shaped three-dimensional object made of solid material, resulting in a more harmonious appearance. Different types of biocompatible materials and implant shapes are used according to the area to be enhanced, such as the chin, jaw, nose, cheeks, and paranasal regions. The procedure typically takes approximately one and a half hours and is performed under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation with local anesthesia. It is an outpatient procedure.
